What is a prophet, as described in the Book of Acts/Ephesians? It is not telling the future or forecasting financial initiatives and trends. It is not divining. It's not predicting who you will marry. Prophecy is is a warning to turn away from disaster and some folks don't like to hear that. Do we have prophets today?

Isn’t it all too telling to see the "newspaper of record" passing off the juvenile claims of a handful posters at Daily Kos as national "news"? Still, do you remember when the New York Times was a real newspaper and not merely a propaganda sheet for the Democrat Party? I don’t either.
